Job Duties:
- Assist in locating survey points and tracer wires.
- Assist in recording survey field notes and related data.
- Operate and maintain survey equipment as assigned.
- Process survey information, including computerized data entry work.
- Assist in creating plans, maps, and charts manually or using a computer-aided design (CAD) system.
- Monitor and inspect small construction projects for conformance, and report problems to supervisor.
- Maintain a daily log of construction activities.
- Document construction quantities and assist with quality control tests on construction materials.
- Perform traffic counting work as assigned.
- Enter traffic count data into databases and assist in analyzing traffic count data as assigned.
- Perform related work as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be age 18 or older.
- Possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Driver’s License or equivalent.
