Job Summary:
Would you like to work outside for the summer months and see different areas of the country? Continental Mapping, is hiring Survey Field Crew members to work the summer months May 1- August 30. Survey field Crew members will have the opportunity to travel to various areas of the Midwest and across the US on a regular basis for weeks at a time working on projects utilizing state of the art technology, while supporting the Company’s initiatives, mission and values. Candidates require a valid driver’s license and must have and maintain a good driving record for this position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Be able to travel for weeks at a time
- Provide assistance to the survey crew in daily survey activities
- Operate survey equipment including but not limited GNSS, Total Station and spirit levels
- Assist in loading/unloading equipment and carrying equipment to work sites
- Ability to follow strict operating protocols in the field
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Valid driver’s license
- Good driving record
- Good verbal and written skills
Experience & Education
- No prior professional experience is required but related experience through a college degree, internships or professional jobs is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
