Job Summary & Duties:
Join the Epic facilities team and you will learn new skills and stretch yourself technically as you work to maintain and improve our 6+ million square foot campus. As part of having a truly Epic job, you will enjoy guaranteed year-round, full-time hours.
The in-house drafting technician will be responsible for assisting the facilities team with ongoing design, construction and operation of the Verona campus. Responsibilities may include: creating and maintaining current models for the Epic campus that are suitable for operations use and future projects; maintaining current PDF sets of drawings utilizing Bluebeam Revu; developing and maintaining formal, standardized company-wide BIM policies and procedures; supporting the facilities team for operational troubleshooting; supporting the design and construction team to identify existing conditions and coordination of changes; building models via Autodesk Design Suite software; research and development of new and current technologies related to BIM; and operating and managing utility locating operations via GIS technology.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and/or Bluebeam Revu Software
- 2 – 3 years of experience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction)
- Associate’s degree or relevant experience
- A history of academic and professional success
- Relocation to Madison, Wisconsin (relocation assistance available)
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
