Job Summary:
Carlson McCain is looking for a full-time Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in our Blaine, MN office. As a licensed land surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting, coordinating and execution of boundary, topographic and ALTA surveys, and platting. You will work closely with our civil engineering design, permitting and construction team for successful completion of projects. In addition, you will assist with field coordination of survey crews, technical support for hardware and software applications, and project/client management. The successful candidate will be expected to handle multiple projects, client and government agency coordination, and work effectively within a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Licensed in Minnesota
- 4+ years of experience in platting and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be able to interact positively with clients, landowners, and other people
- Technical writing, data and file organization, and familiarity with various computer software (including word processing and spreadsheets) are essential to this position
