Job Duties:
- Cartographically model TDS network features for OSP Engineering.
- Develop scripts to automate tasks within GIS software.
- Perform various advanced spatial analysis from raster and vector data.
- Analyze, correlate, and classify data from a variety of sources to be linked to vector features.
- Normalize files within TDS standard Map scale, Coordinate System, and Schema.
Qualifications:
Required
- Currently pursuing AA, BS, or BA degree in Geographic Information System (GIS)
- Familiarity of ESRI / ArcGIS 10.x (desktop; mobile is a plus)
- MS Office (Word, Access, Excel)
Preferred
- Python and SQL experience desired
- Understanding of Remote Sensing and Image Processing techniques
- Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly and efficiently learn applications, systems, policies and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work both independently and on team assignments
- Telephony experience a plus
