Job Summary:
V3 Companies, a multi-discipline civil engineering firm, is seeking a GIS Technician to support our Natural Resources Practice Area in our Woodridge office. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and/or qualifications.
Duties:
- Develop geospatial mapping utilizing GIS software.
- Create, update and download publicly available GIS layers to update company database system.
- Prepare exhibits, site plans, maps and drawings.
- Perform GIS analysis with ArcGIS and add-on software.
- Develop construction documents.
- Other tasks / projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of ArcGIS experience.
- GIS Certification.
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of Spatial Analysis and 3D Analysis is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize.
