Job Summary & Duties:
This Limited Term Employee (LTE) position will involve editing and analyzing GIS data to support an effort to develop a databases of well construction records. Primary responsibilities will include data-entry and spatial editing of subsurface geologic records from water well construction records in a Microsoft Access and ESRI File geodatabase environment. There could be additional responsibilities and extension of employment dependent on job performance.
Qualifications:
The prospective candidate will be detail-oriented, have familiarity with editing data using ArcMap 10.x, an interest in geology or natural resources, and a possess minimum of two years undergraduate education in geography or the natural sciences with some GIS coursework.
