Marketing/Technical Writer

Job Summary:

The Marketing/Technical Writer will create marketing content and develop customer proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical writing process, have an active writing style, and excel at translating complex technical solutions into customer-friendly concepts.

Duties:

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Marketing Communications

• Research, plan, write, and publish relevant content
• Serve as an editor for all internally-developed content
• Execute the digital marketing and social media strategies

Project Sales Proposals

• Manage the proposal development process
• Identify opportunities to differentiate our services based on customer and competitor analysis
• Write, layout, and edit customer proposals

Additional Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Sales team to develop and deploy initiatives
• Support coordination of industry events and marketing communications
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Sales

Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, english, journalism, or other relevant discipline
• Working proficiency and knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office suite

Preferred

• Prior experience in the areas of writing, editing, marketing communication, project management, and RFP proposal development
