Job Summary & Duties:
This position involves assisting engineers, land surveyors and project managers with AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation for commercial/residential developments. Duties include drafting of Boundary surveys, Topographic surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, construction comp. sheets, residential home certificates, section breakdowns, photo control, as-built surveys, and detailed record keeping. In addition, candidate must have the ability to prepare and interpret legal descriptions.
Qualifications:
- Two-year Civil / Survey Technology degree or related.
- Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3d.
- Basic mathematical and computer skills.
- Ability and willingness to work independently.
- Ability to perform tasks with high degree of accuracy and quality of results.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Minimum 2-4 years of directly-related experience.
