GIS Analyst

Job Summary & Duties:

Gannett Fleming is looking for a GIS Analyst for our location near Scott Air Force Base, (O’fallon, IL.)

• Provide GIS expertise and support to Scott AFB as part of the on-site support team
• Support the client with your technical skills to execute their mission
• Provide training on the latest updates to GIS tool to the team , emphasizing things will optimize their production activities
• Keep abreast of other GIS system initiatives in the DoD and IC communities
• Coordinate with other GIS offices like NGA or DIA to share products and imagery
• Create Python Scripts to enable better automation of ArcGIS and AMP production activities
• Participate in requirements gathering and design meetings
• Administer the ArcGIS server environment
• Install and upgrade desktop tools such as the operating system, ArcPro and ArcMap products
• Be able to support rapid requirement response with prototypes, scripts, etc.
• Attend status meetings as required

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, GIS, Management Information Systems or related field required.
• 4 -6  years experience working with GIS applications
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Ability to manage tasks and timelines effectively
• Ability to work on-site at Scott AFB, IL
• Proficiency with Python scripting is required
• Security + certification is required
• Demonstrable ability to provide on-site support services to the Department of Defense client
• MUST Have a SECURITY CLEARANCE OF SECRET (already possessing one is highly desired)

Technical Skills:

• GISP certification preferred
• Proficiency with Flex desired
• Familiarity with SQL is required
• Experience with website development is desired
• Experience Administering Arc GIS server desired
• Experience using and installing ArcPro and ArcMap required
• Familiarity with Socet GXP desired
