Job Summary:
This is an opportunity to meet challenges in geospatial development by collaborating with a development team to build a Web application with user centric design. You’ll work with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience using .Net, JavaScript, and HTML. You’ll work with the development team to ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Qualifications:
Required
- 3 years of experience with performing GIS application development, including Web-based GIS applications
- Experience with GIS
- Experience with .NET, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, Python, Java, and Adobe Flex
- Experience with multiple JavaScript libraries, including Dojo, jQuery, or Leaflet
- Knowledge of an ESRI geodatabase technology
- Knowledge of maintaining or creating geospatial application program interfaces (API), including ESRI’s ArcGIS Server
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- BA or BS degree
- CompTIA Security + Certification
Preferred
- Experience with developing IT solutions for DoD clients
- Experience with Agile development
- Knowledge of RDBMS software, including Oracle
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team
- BA or BS degree in Geography, Engineering, Environmental Science, CS, or a related field
