Job Summary:

Duties:

  • Administer and Manage ArcGIS Server and several internal and external services
  • Provide technical support to all GIS users throughout ISG on Desktop GIS, Collector for ArcGIS, GNSS GPS, Web Applications, and Python/Modelbuilder scripts
  • Develop and document GIS workflows related to analysis and project deliverables
  • Support 25+ field technicians to ensure they have the GIS resources to complete their job duties
  • Individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date metadata records for all data in company repository.
  • Train employees on new technologies, tips & tricks, best management practices, as well as hold periodic user group sessions for idea sharing.
  • Develop map standards for use in proposals, reports, online, and print.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and ensure that ISG approaches GIS in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Meet with project users to define data needs, project requirements, and deliverables.
  • Create maps for various departments/disciplines (Engineering, Planning, Marketing, Environmental, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Remote Sensing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous GIS experience, preferably with ESRI Software Products.
  • Experience with Implementing & Managing ArcGIS Server/Enterprise
  • Ability to Manage Portal/ArcGIS Online and Mobile GIS Products such as Collector for ArcGIS
  • Advanced Knowledge ArcGIS Desktop including applicable experience with ArcGIS Pro
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to create highly detailed and visually appealing cartographic products
  • Experience with Database software, preferably SQL Server.
  • Experience with Python Scripting
  • Ability to work with several different groups/disciplines with differing competency levels of GIS
  • Proficient with raster dataset analysis, especially as it relates to water resources management.
  • Solid understanding of metadata requirements/standards.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Responsiveness mindset
  • Critical thinker
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals or groups.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through phone, email, and in person Individual will be supporting all ISG offices.
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • HTML, CSS, & Javascript Experience; especially the ESRI Javascript API
  • ArcGIS Web appBuilder Developer’s Edition
  • Previous experience working in the consulting engineering industry
  • Previous experience with Municipal GIS
  • Iformbuilder Administration including form building
  • WebMerge integration with iformbuilder
