Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for collecting data that describes the use and performance of the roadway system. Traffic data is used for pavement design, planning, operations, forecasting, safety and much more. As outlined in the FHWA Traffic Monitoring Guide (TMG), data quality assurance processes are essential of any well-designed traffic monitoring program.
Qualifications:
Minimally qualified applicants will have:
- Training and/or experience with Microsoft Office or similar products
- Training and/or experience with data processing tasks
Well qualified applicants will have:
- Training and/or experience of traffic count systems or related data processing methods
- Training and/or experience with geographic information systems (GIS)
