Job Summary:
The City of New Richmond is accepting applications for a GIS intern for the summer. Here you will expand your geospatial knowledge and abilities by assisting GIS project support across various City departments, as well as the development and maintenance of the City’s enterprise GIS.
Duties:
Candidates should have the skills and experience necessary to perform the following tasks: GIS data management, analysis, map production, and field data collection. Candidates should be familiar with working with geodatabases (design, creation, editing, conversion, etc.), GPS equipment, and digitizing.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in a GIS-related field of study and experience with ArcGIS software and Microsoft Office.
Additional Information:
This is a limited-term position, working approximately 30-40 hours/week from late-May through the end of August 2019. Hourly wage is $15/hour.
