Job Summary:
DIS has an immediate openings in our Survey Division. We are pursuing technicians and/or crew chiefs with entry and advance survey experience. These positions come with unique project and growth opportunities and may involve tasks including, but not limited to; fieldwork for boundary and construction surveys, assisting with or making boundary determinations and preparing construction projects for field operations, easement preparation, reviewing deliverables for compliance with client standards, interacting with land owners, etc.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Surveying Engineering.
- Desire to grow within an organization committed to growth and employee development
- Familiar with Trimble or Leica software and firmware, Civil 3D and/or Carlson and the ability to integrate and manage data for efficient operations
- Construction layout experience and/or desire to learn
- Ability to interact well with others in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to regularly lift/carry up to 50 pounds of equipment, and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a drug screen
