Job Summary:
Mi-Tech is a communications contractor and we have a full-time opening for a AutoCAD/GIS Technician located in Brookfield, WI. We have built a solid reputation in the industry by putting safety at the forefront of all of the work we do and by maintaining excellent attention to detail. Duties:
- Geospatially create technical drawings within AutoCAD
- Import shape or CVS files into AutoCAD
- Import aerial imagery into AutoCAD
- Analyze design and confer with engineering to resolve details undefined.
- Process field data to prepare final as-built drawings in AutoCAD.
- Assist with preparation of ROW permitting and submit to governing authority.
- Additional duties and responsibilities may vary.
Qualifications:
Education
- Associates degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Or Associates Degree in Computer Aided Design
- Or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, Word, and Excel.
- Effective communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail as well as quality and accuracy will be essential
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
