Job Summary:
Arc Design Resources, Inc. (Arc) is a full-service civil engineering and land surveying consulting firm that has an immediate opening in our Survey Division at our Loves Park, IL office. We are pursuing technicians and/or crew chiefs with entry and/or advanced survey experience who desire to grow professionally and personally while working alongside a team of professionals. Job duties may include, but not be limited to; fieldwork for boundary and construction surveys, assisting with preparing construction projects for field operations, uploading and downloading data between field and office firmware and software, reading and interpreting title and construction documents, reviewing data to assure compliance with client standards and accuracy, interacting with the public, etc.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Survey Technology, Land Surveying or Surveying
Engineering. - Desire to grow within an organization committed to growth and employee development
- Familiar with Topcon, Trimble and/or Leica software and firmware, Civil 3D and the ability to integrate and manage data for efficient operations
- Construction layout experience with a desire to integrate technologies to maximize efficiencies
- Experience with ALTA Surveys, topographic surveys, rights-of-way easements, annexation plats and subdivision plats
- Ability to interact well with others in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to regularly lift/carry up to 50 pounds of equipment, occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds and perform those tasks normally associated with land and construction survey activities
- Valid driver’s license
- Individuals with 3D laser scanning and/or UAS experience (Part 107 Certificate) are encouraged to apply
