UAS Program Administrator

Qualifications: Must possess a minimum of a (4) four-year degree in an Unmanned Aerial Systems/Geographic Information Systems related field such as Geography, Earth Science, Engineering, Biology, or Natural Resources. At least 12 ±credit hours must have been directly related to UAS/GIS (e.g. GIS, remote sensing, cartography, geospatial field methods, UAS, photogrammetry, etc.). Must possess and be able to maintain a Remote Pilots License with a Small UAS rating as administered by the Federal Aviation Administration in 14 CFR Part 107. Must have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation. Must have experience with at least 2 UAS platforms, 1 photogrammetry software, and at least 2 different types of geospatial field equipment. Must have experience with Photogrammetry software and understand the concepts of Photogrammetry and the process and decisions behind creating Orth mosaics and other data products from UAS Imagery. Must demonstrate 2 years’ worth of GIS/UAS project and research work.
