Job Summary:
The Town of Grand Chute is accepting applications for the position of GIS/Utility Technician. This position performs skilled technical work in the operation, maintenance and support of the Town’s Geographic Information System and in the implementation and maintenance of a stormwater Best Management Practices tracking program.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have experience using a variety of GIS and AutoDesk software, including ESRI, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS Server, ArcMap, ArcPro, ArcGIS Online, Collector, Survey123 and Microsoft Office products. Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Enterprise Geodatabases and Access preferred, along with surveying and data collection experience utilizing Trimble and Pathfinder Office.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related field, and two to three years of experience operating and maintaining GIS systems and database applications; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
