Assistant Professor of Geography

Required Education

• Earned terminal degree from an accredited university.
• Meets tenure and/or rank requirements from a discipline within the unit as defined by the collective bargaining unit;
• Previous academic experience at a four year college or university: 5 or more years teaching experience as determined by rank criteria;
• Previous professional experience related to the discipline: 5 or more years as determined by the discipline and rank criteria; and
• Record of scholarly research, creative activity in a discipline as well as receipt of competitive grants or externally awarded funding.

Chicago State University seeks applicants for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Geography. The successful applicant will teach both introductory and advanced level classes in geography, with a primary concentration in GIS.
