GIS LTE

Applications are being accepted for a GIS LTE (non-benefit eligible, limited term employment) position for the Land Services Department.  This position will assist the Land Information Officer (LIO) with parcel database conversion, GIS website documentation, hard copy map production, and other duties relevant to the maintenance of the County’s Geographic Information System.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions:

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with six months related experience and/or training or any combination of education and experience which provide equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Knowledge of functions in the Land Information office.
• Interest in geography, geographic information systems, surveying, civil engineering, planning, drafting, and/or a natural resources field.
  • Applicants working on an Associate or Bachelor degree in one of the areas listed above preferred.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS software or related mapping software preferred.

Starting rate of pay for position is $15.00 hour.  This position is for 29 hours per week for a total of 1,199 hours.
