Are you looking full-time Temporary (Summer) work as a GIS Intern with the McHenry County Division of Transportation? We are looking for one motivated individual to work as a GIS Summer Intern to assist in planning, design and assisting other staff with a variety of GIS related tasks.
LOCATION: McHenry County Division of Transportation
POSITION: GIS Summer Intern
SALARY: $14.00/per hour
HOURS: 8:00am – 4:30pm from mid May through mid August
Summer interns will assist planning staff with the analysis of public transit ridership data, attribute data entry for new highway improvement projects, update existing GIS data and migration of historic data and also assist other DOT staff in daily tasks as assigned.
Candidates must be 18 years old, must possess a valid driver’s license, have experience using ESRI desktop GIS software, must be a full time college student seeking a degree in planning, geography, engineering or a closely related field. Must be able to work out and indoors as required.
