The City of Fond du Lac is accepting applications for a Limited Term Electrical & Geographic Information System (GIS) seasonal position.
This position will perform work for the Electrical Division in the field and the office. It is anticipated that this work will be 40 hours per week for the months of May through August.
Various duties and responsibilities include: assist with locating, surveying, and mapping of the City’s electrical and fiber optic systems; using GIS software to enter data and draw infrastructure.
Qualifications include: basic knowledge of City infrastructure (electrical, fiber optic, public works systems) and ability to read and use maps.
Requirements include: graduation from high school or equivalent; excellent communication skills. Knowledge of GIS software (ArcPro, ArcGIS) and Microsoft Office is a plus.
