The City of New Richmond is accepting applications for a Geographic Information System (GIS) intern for the summer. This position will assist with GIS project support across various
City departments, as well as the development, maintenance, and expansion of the City’s GIS. Candidates should have the skills and experience necessary to perform the following tasks: GIS data conversion and creation, map creation, and field data collection. Candidates should be familiar with working with geodatabases (design, creation, editing, etc.), ArcGIS Desktop and Online, Trimble GPS equipment, and cartographic principles.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree is a GIS or related field of study and experience with ArcGIS 10.x and Microsoft Office.
