Internship Duration:
ASAP – Spring Semester 2021 with possibility of extension and/or permanent employment.
Hours:
Flexible hours for 20 hours per week. Access to a computer and internet is the responsibility of the intern. Follow detailed instructions without supervision to perform operations given in written instructions and training sessions.
Position Summary:
The GIS Analyst will conduct basic GIS operations, initiate QC processes on geospatial files, search/extract geospatial data from internet source, and create/model new files using standard GIS procedures as instructed. Perform basic geospatial Quality Control (QC) on fire station locations and characteristics using Google Maps and street view.
