LOGIS as a premiere employer seeks a highly motivated GIS Supervisor. Responsible for the management of LOGIS’ GIS division. Duties include general support and operation of LOGIS’ and participating members’ geographic information systems. Duties include direct supervision of LOGIS’ GIS staff, hardware/software acquisition, acquisition/ support of spatial and non-spatial data sets, application design, development and integration, direct user support, consulting, and training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or closely related field.
- Minimum of three years’ experience with Esri’s product suite, designing and supporting GIS in a governmental setting, GIS supervisory and project management experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Windows products, computer networks and infrastructure, Python, database management and custom application development.
