Description:
We are a Sun Prairie based land surveying firm seeking a qualified individual to join our staff. Our candidate needs to be organized and self-directed with a strong work ethic, excellent ability to multi-task, and a strong desire to excel. This is a full time position. Wages based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and modify site, boundary, and parcel maps.
- Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
- Prepare design drawings.
- Assure document standards are met.
- Strong aptitude in math.
- Interpret and read house plans and construction plans.
- Confer with clients to resolve issues.
Field surveying.
Required Skills:
- Basic hand drafting skills.
- Proficient with GNSS/GPS receivers, robotics total stations, and data collectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience using MS Outlook.
- Solid knowledge of land surveying.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in the field.
Required Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in land surveying or related field (we are willing to train the right candidate).
