Oneida County is accepting applications for the position of Land Information Director/County Surveyor. This position develops, directs, coordinates and supervises the activities, personnel and budgeting of the Countywide Land Information Program, Geospatial Program, Real Property Listing/Taxation, Road Naming and Addressing, Tax Foreclosure, County Real Estate Transactions and the Land Survey Program. The 2022 salary range for this full-time position is $59,480 to $81,572, plus excellent fringe benefit package.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and five years’ work experience in surveying, geographic/land information systems, cartography, engineering, geography or closely related field. Applicants with an Associates degree plus at least nine years’ work experience in the above areas will also be considered. Minimum of two years supervisor experience required. Wisconsin Registered Land Surveyor License highly desired, however candidates with strong Land Information/GIS and Administration experience may be considered.
