We are InfraMarker, an entrepreneurial, start-up division of Berntsen International.  We are reinventing utility infrastructure management by connecting the Digital World of GIS with the Real World of Assets in the field, using RFID marking technology.  InfraMarker RFID solutions drive new levels of safety, operational efficiency, transparency and traceability for many asset types and operations workflows. The InfraMarker RFID approach generates specific benefits for each workflow but also scales across the entire enterprise for broad strategic advantage. InfraMarker RFID is the link between GIS and Asset Management.

For 50 years, Berntsen has been a leader in the manufacture of survey marking products.  For over a decade, Berntsen’s InfraMarker division has built leadership in building Connected RFID solutions – winning awards, securing IP, building capacity, expertise and partnerships – to drive a next generation utility management world.  We are looking for talented people to propel this vision forward.

You have experience selling and implementing solutions for these challenges.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop sales leads into opportunities and opportunities into closed sales
  • Promote InfraMarker solutions through presentations, webinars, and trade show participation.
  • Define solutions to meet the challenges of utility infrastructure management, understand and resolve the technical and organizational challenges to solution implementation, and sell the value of the solution in terms of relevant business outcomes.
  • Understand the technologies, products, and capabilities of InfraMarker and bring those resources together for customer solutions
  • Nurture a wide range of trusted advisor relationships with clients, from strategy to technology, from the C-suite to the front line, and from business and IT.
  • Execute standard business development and sales processes for team and personal success.
  • Promote evidence-based business decisions by blending in business data and domain expertise to discover new insights.
  • Keep learning and bringing new technologies and innovative solutions to our clients.
  • Ability to travel on a weekly basis to client sites, when needed

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Technical Sales, Consulting or related experience in the Utility industry – especially utility field operations
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and solution development skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills

Extras:

  • You understand GIS and Asset Management systems
  • You have built operational solutions with a strong GIS component
  • You are familiar with CRM (Salesforce preferred) as a means to support sales development
  • You’ve gained the trust of your clients and partnered with them to design business process, lead design thinking workshops, develop business case, deliver agile projects, develop new operating model, manage talent and change
