This position may be considered for a hybrid work arrangement based on ALLETE’s needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the employees position will be a blend of work performed both in-person and at an offsite location such as an employee’s home office. This position will report to Duluth, MN.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Through a multitude of maps and applications, Geographic Information System (GIS) allow users to see and interact with spatial data that spans the areas served by ALLETE and its affiliates.

This position will:
Provide support for the Geographic Information System (GIS) used throughout ALLETE.
Focus on extending the functionality of both on-premise and cloud-based technologies.
Develop automation of workflow tasks.
Implement new technologies and applications.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or another related field of study required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Four years or more related job experience

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

May need to provide occasional after-hours support
