The State Cartographer’s Office (SCO) is looking for a student to work on a project for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT). The project involves georeferencing scanned maps depicting WisDOT Rights of Way in the southeastern part of the state. Students will work as a team and with a project manager to georeference these maps, adding geographic coordinates to make them usable in GIS. This is a great project for students who want to gain more experience with ArcGIS Pro.
The project is currently ongoing, and this position could continue into fall 2026 and beyond, subject to funding availability. Applications will be accepted through end of day on Monday, April 27, 2026.
