LTE GIS Development Analyst

Under general supervision, the GIS Development Analyst position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and Vertigis Studio applications for various DNR programs. This position will implement standards and guidelines of AGOL and Vertigis development, and design web-based mapping applications to satisfy program needs. It will also be responsible for developing and maintaining GIS services and data used in applications.

50% Develop, maintain and support Vertigis and/or ArcGIS Online geospatial applications.

• Analyze business requirements and evaluate alternatives to determine technical feasibility to solve business needs
• Lead technical development and testing of projects utilizing advanced Vertigis/ Portal and AGOL tools (e.g. Experience Builder)
• Develop documentation in support of AGOL and developed applications

30% Develop and maintain GIS resources for use in various GIS applications (e.g. ArcGIS Online, Vertigis, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Pro).

• Maintain GIS services and data for staff use and application integration
• Develop and manage routine task workflow automation for distribution (e.g. scripts, queries)
• Develop and maintain geospatial data, documentation, and metadata following established standards

10% Independently develop, design, and output cartographic products.

10% Participate in team meetings, trainings and collaborative discussions.
