GIS Intern

General Purpose: Under the direction of the Technical Services Manager, provide supportto the City of Waukesha Water Utility engineering department which will include ArcGIS,recordkeeping, calculations, and GPS mapping functions.Responsibilities to include:1. Assist in the collection and maintenance of field data using GIS/GPS and CADequipment.2. Research records, maps, and other data to obtain typical data such as location ofservices, water mains, hydrants, etc.3. Assist in maintenance of database and mapped records.4. Maintain and update system maps using the Utility’s ESRI mapping software.5. Conduct data quality assurance / quality control utilizing standardized procedures.
