The Community Development Department is currently accepting applications for a summer internship in the Planning Services Division. The majority of the duties will involve assisting planning staff with ongoing projects by performing research, data collection and analysis. Candidates should have demonstrated experience with ESRI ArcGIS 9.1 or higher software and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
Candidates must be self-motivated, detail oriented, have strong writing skills, and be able to think creatively as well as analytically. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed course work in urban planning, geography, cartography, or a directly related field of study.
