Mead & Hunt is seeking an experienced planner to work with our transportation group on various DOT-funded projects. Position could be in either our Madison, Green Bay, or Milwaukee office depending upon our needs and the needs of the selected candidate. Responsibilities include conducting transportation corridor studies, conducting and authoring environmental documents, coordinating with state and federal agencies, and conducting public involvement activities and meetings. Opportunities also exist for the right candidate to become actively engaged in business development activities. Travel will be necessary.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in urban and regional planning or similar discipline and at least three years of relevant planning experience (including Wisconsin DOT highway corridor studies involving access management, public involvement, NEPA process, and land use issues).

The ideal candidate will have experience with/knowledge of any/all of the following: AICP certification, ability to make public presentations, business development activities, managing project teams, GIS experience, good written and communication skills.
