GIS Production Assistant

We need a technically-savvy student to assist with the design and development of mapping-related web applications. Gain marketable experience while working with cutting edge web technology and a dynamic team. Located in Science Hall on the UW campus, we offer a flexible work schedule of 10-20 hours per week in a relaxed environment. Hours will be available during the summertime, and extend into fall ’09 and beyond.

Let’s talk if you have skills in any of these areas:

• Understanding of mapping and GIS concepts, tools, and techniques
• HTML and/or web scripting (PHP, javascript)
• ArcGIS, SQL, MS Excel
• Web content management systems
• Proven organizational abilities

Requirement: Must be a UW student enrolled for Spring and Fall ‘09 classes.
