JOB DESCRIPTION:
Full-time position. The candidate would provide direct oversight of the lidar acquisition including flight planning, lidar processing, classification, and assist in scheduling. Oversee assigned staff; provide technical guidance; monitor staff performance; communicate with with Project Managers on project issues and coordinate with other Leads to transfer data and information; assist with estimating; review budget and schedule; quality of assigned lidar projects; and continual evaluation of work flows, technical strategies and alternative solutions to improve performance, throughput and quality. Candidate must have an understanding of the following: lidar systems (hardware and software); data processing (ABGPS/IMU and lidar vendor software); basic understanding of geodesy, surveying and datum transformations; lidar classification software; personnel management.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in related field and two years industry experience; or a minimum of 7 years industry experience. Skills and Abilities: Strong commitment to quality; excellent mult-tasking and organizational skills; computer skills; highly motivated with a desire and aptitude for learning; positive attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.
