BASIC FUNCTION:
The Project Analyst’s primary responsibility is coordinating and executing corporate employee or department moves, and tracking office space needs and utilization to support core business units. This position is also responsible for managing the day-to-day furniture and corporate facility requests along with developing and maintaining ArcGIS applications to collect, integrate, and disseminate information on leased and owned facilities worldwide.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate corporate employee and department moves including but not limited to location cubicle/office, phone and IT system.
2. Provide conceptual designs and estimates based on space program and customer’s requirements for budgeting.
3. Perform field audits of office space occupancy.
4. Provide monthly project tracking reports utilizing the electronic time reporting system and the electronic work request system.
5. Provide weekly project procurement report tracking purchase orders and invoices.
6. Knowledge and proficiency in ArcGIS desktop and server software.
7. Ability to develop, create and maintain relational and spatial database layers.
8. Knowledge in geoprocessing and database integration
9. Demonstrated ability to create data models and simple web application using ArcGIS.
10. Familiarity with Enterprise GIS database support, maintenance and management.

Activities in Support of Department Leadership:
1. Schedule and attend project meetings as required and provide timely meeting notes.
2. Provide liaison role to the end users.

Technical Skills:
1. Must possess a thorough knowledge of ArcGIS, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Microsoft Outlook.
2. Must have the ability to manage and organize documents within the Windows XP operation system.
3. Must be able to learn new software systems as the work process evolves.
4. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and work simultaneously.
5. AutoCAD experience required.
6. GIS experience required.

RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Supervisory Relationships:
1. Reports to the Supervisor of Civil Engineering

Organizational Relationships:
1. Frequent contact with all department associates
2. Frequent contact with associates within Operations Support
3. Frequent contact with Purchasing and Accounting Groups
4. Occasional contact with the Lease Manager

External Business Relationships:
1. Frequent contacts with office equipment, office furniture, accessory and interior finish vendors and representatives.
2. Frequent contact with furniture contractors specializing in installation, electrostatic refinishing, and reupholsterers of existing furniture.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Prefer an Associate Degree with business or technical curriculum, and five years of experience in an office setting.
2. 3-5 yrs of database and application development experience using ArcGIS and similar development platforms
3. Previous experience working with computers and related software packages such as Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook is required.
4. Experience in project procurement/accounting and supporting project managers is beneficial.
