Job Duties:
This project position will oversee the migration of the Commission and Mentorship programs to an online application and database system, similar to the online Direct Purchase program piloted in 2009. The position will coordinate the Direct Purchase and the Mentorship components of the Percent for Art Program. In addition, this position will be responsible for updating and maintaining the new Percent for Art GIS map feature on the Percent for Art Web page along with managing the commission prospectuses and call to artists online. This is a Project Position scheduled up to October 31, 2014. Applicant who is appointed to this position must be a Wisconsin resident. Desired candidates will have experience working with and/or schooling in visual arts, art history or arts administration and/or working with visual artists.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Oral and written communication skills; conceptual and analytical abilities; experience working with Microsoft Windows applications i.e., Word, PowerPoint; ability to use HTML, Adobe Writer, GIS; data base management and spreadsheet use; ability to train non-IT users and/or IT users; e data base management and spreadsheet use; interpersonal skills; ability to handle multiple project deadlines; prioritize duties and pay attention to detail; decision making skills; and, customer service skills.
