Job Duties: Enter and retrieve data from Agency computer databases, spreadsheets, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) applications. Assist in collecting, processing and storing global positioning systems (GPS) locational data and generating map products. Assist in designing, developing and implementing internet webpages& computer applications (database, spreadsheets or GIS) based on specifications prepared by senior staff.
Who May Apply: Students must be currently enrolled and accepted for enrollment in Fall 2011, seeking a degree (diploma, certificate, etc) and taking at least a half-time academic, technical or vocational course load in an accredited technical, vocational, 2- or 4-year college or university, graduate or professional school.
Required Documents: ALL APPLICANTS MUST provide proof of successful completion of required course work (copy of transcripts or a list of courses that show title, credits earned, dates completed and degree awarded if applicable). VETERANS: To receive consideration as a veteran, you must attach a DD-2l4 indicating the character of discharge you received. To receive consideration as a disable veteran, you must attach a Standard Form 15 and letter from the VA certifying your disability along with a copy of your DD-214 indicating the character of discharge received.
