Gain marketable experience while working with cutting edge technology and a dynamic team. Located in Science Hall on the UW campus, we offer a flexible work schedule of 10-15 hours per week in a relaxed environment.
GIS/Web Support Technician – We’re looking for a technically-savvy student to assist with web application development and geospatial data processing.
Let’s talk if you have one or more of these skills:
- Experience developing web-based applications with PHP, HTML/CSS, Javascript, Flash, or other related technologies
- Experience with databases and SQL database queries (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with web management/content management systems such as Joomla or Drupal
- Solid understanding of mapping and GIS concepts
Requirement: You must be a UW student enrolled for the Spring 2011 and Fall 2011 semesters. This position will extend into the summer and beyond.
