The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) seeks interested candidates to fill the ArcSDE Specialist position. This individual will be responsible for providing assistance and support to MMSD’s Geographical Information Systems (GIS) by maintaining and upgrading support for the RSR ArcServers and the desktop applications for user community in disseminating information to internal and external customers, in accordance with information systems standards.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field and two to three years of related experience. The selected candidate must also have the following: two years experience in supporting computer applications and one year of ArcSDE program use and support; experience with the ESRI product line of GIS products; strong customer service and problem-solving skills; and strong written and verbal communication skills. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable.
Residency within MMSD boundaries (which includes Milwaukee County excluding South Milwaukee) required within one year.
