The Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission is seeking candidates to fill land use mapping specialist positions in its Land Use Planning Division. Work will focus on updating the Commission’s maps of existing land use in the seven-county Southeastern Wisconsin Region. The position requires skills and interest in mapping and aerial photography interpretation. The work mainly involves manually mapping existing land use on aerial photographs. College coursework in geography, land use studies, aerial photo interpretation, cartography, and/or geographic information systems is desirable.
This is an entry-level, limited-term employment opportunity spanning a duration of one and one half years.
