Marketing Support

Continental Mapping Consultants is a rapidly growing geospatial data services firm headquartered in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, with branch offices in Indianapolis, Indiana; Portland, Oregon; and Kansas City, Kansas. We are currently looking to fill an entry level marketing support position in our Wisconsin office.

Marketing Support

In support of Business Development, the employee is responsible for Continental Mapping Consultant’s marketing efforts through proposal development, the development, coordination and support of strategic campaigns that promote Company services. This position will assist in marketing initiatives to include planning, developing, implementing and promoting advertising efforts, organizing and attending events, direct e-mails, e-marketing, writing the company newsletter, supporting Company websites and intranet, supporting CRM databases and developing marketing materials. Some travel will be required.

Position Requirements:

• Education, training and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communication or similar field with 0-3 years of directly related experience or an associate’s degree 3-5 years of directly related experience or a combination of education and experience equivalent to this.
• Coursework should have included advertising, economics, statistics, marketing principles, business law, public-speaking, creative writing, sales, market research and/or digital design.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must, particularly strong verbal communication, presentation and listening skills.
• Because this position communicates through e-mail, good keyboarding, spelling and written communication skills are necessary.
• Computer graphics abilities
• Strong multi-tasking ability, self-motivated
• Ability to effectively represent company in a trade show environment, as needed
• A solid knowledge and understanding of the technical details of geospatial/remote sensing/photogrammetry markets

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience in proposal writing
• Web design
