Design Drafter

Essential Job Functions:
50% – Design and draft CATV systems on Focus I as assigned. Design new CATV systems, including rebuilds, upgrades and small extensions using a PC.
10% – Maintain plant map books.
10% – Check system designs for accuracy.
25% – Coordinate design extensions with system for construction scheduling, and maintain log of all work performed.
5% – Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university

Required Education (Major) : GIS Major

Experience/Skills Required: Coax cable design desirable. Bentley experience desirable.

Specialized skills : MSOffice skill set required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA in Geography with an emphasis in Cartography and GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
