Job Summary/Basic Function:
Primary responsibilities of criminal justice faculty include teaching, research, and participation in professional and community service activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
The qualified applicant will hold a Ph.D. in criminal justice, criminology or a related field. ABD will be considered if completion of the degree is imminent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Primary preference is a specialty in quantitative methods, spatial analysis and introductory GIS. Secondary preference is a specialty in criminology, violence, and/or victimology. Additional preference is demonstrated interest/expertise in research, teaching and community service.
