Job Description:
Seeking all levels of GIS software developers to assist in the design and development of Silverlight applications, web services, and relational database tools (SQL Server 2008 and Oracle) for POWER’s GIS and Asset Management business unit. Must be skilled in object oriented C#.NET, Silverlight, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services and relational database modeling. Desired skills include knowledge of software development methodologies and software design modeling techniques such as the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Strong verbal and written communication skills are required for interaction with our clients, partners and internal team members. Development experience with one or more of the following GIS platforms is a plus: Esri ArcGIS, Intergraph G/Technology, AutoCad Map 3D / AGDS, and GE Smallworld. We are currently seeking applicants to work in one of the following POWER offices: Boise, Denver, Green Bay, or Milwaukee.
