Senior Lands & ROW Agent
Undertakes a lead role in supervising field Right of Way Agents with respect to the Pipeline Integrity Execution Team. Also plays a role providing operational support for core project work in coordination with the Regions
Specific Accountabilities
- Provides Lands & ROW support and advisory services to the newly formed Pipeline Integrity Execution team
- Coordinates activities and tracking among internal and external stakeholders of the Pipeline Integrity Dig Program
- Utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) tools for coordination and execution of the Pipeline Integrity Dig Program
- Tracks affected landowner/parcel notifications and maintenance/construction conditions, permits, via software programs
- Direct and supervise land service providers in conjunction with the execution of the Pipeline Integrity Dig Program
- Research state/province and county/municipal records for land interests
- Obtains annual and date specific railroad, road and utility crossing permits. With ability to create diagrams for road closures and written scope of work and liaison to create or obtain internal site specific
- crossings of longitudinal drawings
- Identifies current landowners and updates information through research of public records at Township and County levels and their associated online databases. Including new land subdivisions, dedicated roadways, plats and property lines with electronic information that can be overlaid into LOID, Google Earth
- Acquires additional working rights as needed that are not covered under existing easements/permits, such as: temporary workspace, access, staging areas
- Settle damage claims for maintenance activities and creates budgets, work orders, and processes invoices/paperwork
- Assist with Public Awareness issues related to the integrity dig program
- Represent company at public meetings as needed
- Providing operational support for core project work in coordination with the Regions
- Assist in efforts with respect to the Damage Prevention Program
- Working knowledge of historical pipeline system easements, permits and agreements
- Understands specific governmental land ordinances, statutes and easement laws pertaining to multi-state pipeline system and federal regulations
- Proficient with landowner database, mail merges, alignment sheets, Google Earth, LOID, landowner line lists and master punch spreadsheets
- University graduate in a related field such as environmental studies, engineering or geography.
- Five years of on the job experience.
