Geospatial Architect/Administrator

Position Description:
DragonTechnology Solutions is looking for a Geospatial Architect/Administrator candidate with 5 or more yearsof relevant professional experience in ArcGIS Server (AGHS) and Arc Internet Map Server (ArcIMS) with Windows Server Administering. This position collaborates with other administrators and analysts to manage all aspects of the development and administration of a GIS Web Services infrastructure; Coordinate development of Web map application guidelines and standards; Having primary responsibility for the implementation and administration of guidelines and standards of web mapping and GIS Server-based application hosting; Interacting with Technical Services staff to research, specify and configure GIS Web Services hardware and software, including ESRI Arc Internet Map Server, and ArcGIS Server; Manage projects to prototype web mapping and GIS server data access interfaces, and facilitate various level of access to enterprise wide web mapping data; Providing consulting support to management; Participating in the development and establishment of policies, procedures, plans, and standards related to geo-spatial information technology architectures.

Skills required as follows:

1. Experience designing/architecting GIS web mapping applications that allow users to create and edit multiple feature classes (point, line, and polygon) using ArcServer
2. Experience designing/architecting GIS web applications.
3. Experience designing/architecting web services utilized by GIS editing applications.
4. Moxie Media Internet Mapping Framework (IMF) – administration of IMF applications
5. MS Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 Administration
