We are looking for a part-time person to assist us in drafting maps and diagrams for our technical reports. We utilize ArcMap, ArcGIS, Autocad Civil 3D 2012 and gINT Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Data Management and Reporting Software. We are looking for a candidate who is experienced with one or more of these software products and is familiar with generating maps and diagrams. We utilize Trimble GPS to collect field data and download this information to do most of mapping work, which often entails topographic depictions and multi-layer GIS depictions mostly related to geological exploration and mining.
Schmitt Technical Services Inc. specializes in petrographic and chemical analysis of building materials, and also does geological consulting.
